Links to cool stories about our awesome world:
- The awesome dolphin research team blog I volunteered with them for a couple of months in 2012 and then again for a month in 2013. They do pretty awesome stuff, check out their blog... At least for the pictures or the 50/50 video (look out for me looking sheepish in the video).

"A wasp nest made of masticated wood" |

"The bower of the vogelkop gardener bowerbird" |
- The dark side of cute and fluffies. "There is no animal that is made of rainbows and kisses and goodness all the way through."
- Adorable sea otters saving the world, one kelp forest at a time. (Warning - this is a video so depending on your internet connection it could make you want to pull your hair out).

- Oooo, tough one to listen to (I was working, so couldn't actually watch all of it, but when I did look the images were stunning). Why should you care about restoring and protecting the "wild ocean". "it takes a long time to restore.... 200 year old orange roughy, we don't consume 200 year old cows or chickens" "I wish that you would you use all means at your disposal -- films! expeditions! the web! more! -- to ignite public support for a global network of marine protected areas, hope spots large enough to save and restore the ocean, the blue heart of the planet."
WARNING: Oooo sadness... so much sadness... and
waste. A photographic post about how much we waste, and it is like a slap in the face.
